I met this stunning couple through another couple, Andrea and Angelo. Both couples amazingly fun to be around, they just like me the weird and wacky type. I no longer call them clients, but friends, when we together all we do is LAUGH.... Candice and Leroy got married in December 2012, I literally met them something like 3 weeks before their wedding, we had the most gorgeous day for their engagement shoot, we took some images in Kalk Bay, I'm so in love with the rich colour and heritage in this quaint area of our beautiful city - we stopped off at the Harbour too - there was no way I could resist :)

I was asked by one of my best friends, Oshanthini to do a maternity shoot of her budding belly in October 2012, it was sort of my first maternity shoot and I was slightly nervous to say the least, but eventually i got into my creative side and started flowing with it. It was an absolute pleasure, we took my son along, Tristan, he's in a few of their images, I even sneaked in an image of me:) Watch this space for the newborn images of their daughter, my beautiful niece Danica Priyanka Johnson.

Sheldon and Arlene are really close friends of mine, I was very honoured to take their wedding pictures in 2009, it was right after they experienced an awful tragic event, but if there's one thing that is truly evident is their perseverance and faith. In 2012 Arlene gave birth to an exact replica of Sheldon, at least I think so... their beautiful daughter - Caitlyn Allies, I was privilege enough to do family shoot late last year with them and without a doubt, little Miss Cait radiated with personality, watch this space as I upload those images within the week.

This has been a day of photo sifting, I've decided to upload the last of my golden oldies of the wedding pictures... going through these images have really made me smiled today - feeling kinda blessed that I was able to share in these wonderful weddings and even more blessed that I was able to capture the memories of the day! Its also helps that my clients are so easy to work with and totally willing to put up with my craziness ;)

These are a couple of my best friends... 5 years of marriage and 2 children later, I'm finally uploading their wedding pictures and yes, Ros has been on my case for years about it... It's finally up, I remember i made them do some weird and crazy things to get the creativity up as usual they were troopers about it...

The one thing I totally love about photography aside from sharing in the beauty of a wedding day, is that I tend to form lasting friendships with some of my clients... these days my friends would say... this is how we roll, with a photographer in tow...gotta love that!

I've been sifting through my 8000+ pictures, which in hindsight isn't much for almost 8 years of work, but I wanted to upload some of the images to reflect where I was as a young photographer and how i've evolved since (i'm by no means a old photographer now), it's quite fascinating to see the progress and development... so these are some of my favourite images from weddings between 2006 and 2009...
