Kashan Jacobs Matric Dance

Another week has passed and it still doesn't feel like I actually made a dent in my blog updates, but I am getting there - these pics are from my last shoot which was last weekend, I really couldn't wait until next week to upload these images, so here goes :) Kashan's dress was absolutely exquisite... I love love love the ballerina tutu look (I got ballerina issues - always wanted to be one - sigh) and the P.O.U.T was soooo fitting, she clearly practiced all week HA! I love how proud her parents looked when they saw her off...their little girl is almost ALL grown up!

Mario & Judene Booysen Wedding

So here's the weird thing, I was so amped to be working with this couple late December 2012 that I didn't even realize that Judene was 5 months pregnant at the wedding, she later told me after I delivered her wedding photobook to her, that she found it very amusing that I spent all that time with her while she was getting ready for her wedding and not once did I ask her about her protruding belly... it's so unlike me, I'm one of the most in tune people when it comes to women and their pregnancies - anyhow about a month ago they  welcomed their beautiful son, Rio Booysen, they promised me a cuddle and a photoshoot when they back in Cape Town.
Judene's beauty shone through is almost EVERY picture, I never captured one image of her where she wasn't looking regal, absolutely beautiful.

Lee-ann & Cohen Christmas shoot

This shoot took place just before Christmas, this little guy was such a funny little character, I love the pics of him kissing his mommy, it was super cute - the emotion was so evident. He kept running away from me when i tried to get him to wear the Christmas hat and he was totally nuts about the ducks, i remember him going quack quack ALL the time... #funtimes

Loved the lighting this time of the afternoon at my absolutely favourite park!!!!

Danica's Newborn Photoshoot

This little princess made her arrival 15 November 2012, about a month later I was able to take some newborn images of her. I was excited but slightly nervous because I wanted it to be perfect. So I got a new blanket and came across an old wooden crate at work that was being thrown out and BAM came up with some newborn props... luckily these pics were taken right before Christmas so we were able to add a holiday element to it as well. Just adore this gorgeous little girl.
